Police Investigate Bank Robbery

On April 9, 2018, at approximately 11:28 a.m. Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Officers responded to a bank robbery that occurred at U.S. Bank, located at 127 N. Santa Cruz Ave.

Two suspects entered the bank, approached bank employees while brandishing handguns, and demanded cash. During the commission of the robbery, a customer sustained minor injuries due to physical force caused by one of the suspects. One of the suspects was described by witnesses as approximately 5'8" to 5'1 0" tall, wearing grey Nike running pants, a black hooded sweatshirt and face mask, gloves, sunglasses, and black and red Nike shoes. The second suspect was described as approximately 5'8" to 5' l 0" tall, wearing dark gray pants, a black hooded sweatshirt and face mask, sunglasses, and white running shoes. The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash and were seen fleeing from the bank on foot to a possible awaiting vehicle on Victory Lane. The associated vehicle was last seen traveling north on Victory Lane, and was described as a black four door sedan with moderate right front end damage. 

Police Detectives are currently conducting follow up investigation in attempt to identify the suspects and follow up on any possible investigative leads.
