Mayor Proclaims "Los Perros for a Day" On May 5, the Mayor proclaimed that the Town of the Cats would be the Town of the Dogs for a day. A special celebration of dogs will be held on May 17 to encourage people to shop and dine in Los Gatos, celebrate the magic of the human-dog bond, and promote responsible dog ownership. | The San Jose/Santa Clara Water Pollution Control Plant plays a vital role in protecting and preserving San Francisco Bay and is embarking on a Master Plan process to enhance its faciliites and equipment. The Plant serves the cities of San Jose, Santa Clara, Milpitas, Campbell, Cupertino, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Monte Sereno, and other unincorporated areas is conducting free facility bus tours May - August. Learn how water that is used in homes, schools, and businesses, which amounts to more than 110 million gallons per day is cleaned to almost drinking water standards!
